United StatesTruly turns off the heat generation under my body
I generate a lot of heat when I sleep. My "cooling" mattress protector wasn't doing its job, and I felt like I was sleeping on a hot griddle. I would wake during the night, soaking wet. I've liked Coop products for many years, so I decided to try one of these Ultra-Cool Waterproof Mattress Protectors. It works! I no longer feel like there's heat being generated underneath me. My only complaint is that the surface of the mattress protector is slippery, but that issue can be resolved with the right sheets or combination of products (thick mattress topper, layer this mattress protector on top of it, and finish it off with the Comphy CoolSpa sheets).

I purchased the matching mattress cover and sheets together. I can't really say much about the mattress cover itself other than it fit well and seems to be a little cooler on our Nectar Copper mattress than the one we purchased with the mattress last year that is supposed to be an ultra cool mattress cover too.

I wanted to like this mattress protector, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I found it much too slippery both with bamboo sheets and stiffer, more structured cotton sheets. It also felt like sleeping on plastic, between how slippery, stiff, and noisy the mattress protector was. It did feel cooler than others, but that doesn't make up for the discomfort. Luckily, the return process was a breeze.

This is a very well made mattress protector. It fits perfectly and stays in place well. Used with the CoolSpa sheet set however leads to a very slippery feel to the bedding.
