New Coop Eden Pillow Has Changed

What a disappointment! I previously ordered two Eden pillows in 2019, which were filled with 100% white and green cooling gel. I’ve loved them and used them nightly. I needed another pillow and purchased an Eden in Jan, 2024, which just arrived. It is filled with approx. 50% white (with a tinge of blue) gel foam -several pieces of foam were in huge clumps that needed to be broken apart, and 50% gossamer-like “fill” that is a mess to deal with if you are going to add/subtract fill from your pillow - which is part of the big sell for Coop pillows! I decided to give it a try - maybe they weren’t going cheap and had an innovative breakthrough. NO, this pillow does not even come close in comfort to its predecessor. I had to re-fluff and rearrange pillow all night long. I got up and added, subtracted fill and nothing helped - the pillow is uncomfortable! I threw it on the floor and grabbed one of my old pillows. The new Coop Eden pillows are nothing like their originals - the quality and comfort are subpar and they are definitely not worth their inflated price.

I purchased 2 Eden Coop pillows and extra Oomph almost 2 years ago. I’m still excited to say it the best pillow I’ve had. I recently purchased 2 Eden Coop pillows and extra Oomph. Unfortunately, Coop has changed the filling in their pillows to a cheaper foam & gel. In fact, there’s more shredded down alternative than there is foam or cooling gel. Since Coop merged with a larger company, they sold out on their quality to benefit of profit. These pillows used to be made in the USA- now, they’re made in China. Again, the pillow filling is so different. Please see the attached pictures to see what I am saying. Look at the pillow with all the foam & no shredded down alternative from about 2 years ago. Look at the extra Oomph next to it, and notice the significant difference in quality. I’m so disappointed in Coop! The pillow feels so different, and they sold out for cheap materials along with cheap labor! A pillow this expensive shouldn’t be made this poorly!! Again, the pillow with just down is on the left- the new extra Oomph is next to it! Look at all the shredded down alternative compared to the old pillow with quality foam. Also, the photos are self explanatory showing that Coop used to make their pillows in the US, and now they sold out to cheaply manufacture their pillows in China. I’m returning my 2 new Eden pillows, as well as the extra Oomph.

I ordered the extra fill for my existing pillow. I used it to add bulk and was careful to contain it on one side of the pillow. Not sure that I feel much cooling effect on that side, but I do live in a hot humid climate. Perhaps I expected too much. The pillow in general is a great pillow.
